THEATRE RENTAL FEE WAIVER REQUEST BY OLYMPIA PHILHARMONIC\nSOCIETY\nOlympia Philharmonic Society is planning a youth orchestra concert at the\nMission Playhouse on January 11, 2026, and has requested a partial fee waiver:\na reduction from $6,659.50 to $3,784.50. The event will be presented to the\ncommunity at no charge for admission. The City has budgeted $12,000 in its\nannual Rental Subsidy account, account number 152-3532, for fiscal year 20252026 from which the waiver would be charged. Should the City Council approve\nstaff’s recommendation, the remaining balance would be $9,850.\nCalifornia Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: Not a Project as\ndefined in Section 15378 of the State CEQA Guidelines.\nRecommended Action:\nStaff recommends that the City Council approve a partial fee waiver of the San\nGabriel Mission Playhouse facility rental fee in the amount of $2,150 for the\nJanuary 11, 2026 performance day.
