Approval of a new Side Letter with the La Verne\nFirefighters’ Association (LVFA) to amend the existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)\nfor compliance with additional CalPERS requirements.\nRecommendation: That the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute a Side Letter\nAgreement amending Memorandum of Understandings between the City of La Verne and the\nLa Verne Firefighters’ Association Regarding Education Incentives.
