4.\nTransit Oriented Development Pedestrian Bridge Project: Construction and Maintenance\nAgreement with Southern California Regional Rail Authority and San Gabriel Valley\nCouncil of Governments. The proposed pedestrian bridge crossing over Arrow Highway and\nthe Metrolink San Bernardino Line (railroad tracks) will provide a grade-separated connection\nbetween the La Verne A-Line Station and the Fairplex campus. Implementation of this project\nwill require the execution of a Construction and Maintenance (C&M) Agreement among the\nparticipating public agencies. The agreement will define each agency’s respective roles and\nresponsibilities and will be executed by the City of La Verne, the San Gabriel Valley Council of\nGovernments (SGVCOG), and the Southern California Regional Rail Authority\n(SCRRA/Metrolink).\nRecommendation: That the City Council approve a Resolution authorizing the City Manager to\nenter into the Construction and Maintenance Agreement for the Transit Oriented Development\nPedestrian Bridge Project with the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments and the\nSouthern California Regional Rail Authority.
