8.\nACCEPT IMPROVEMENTS AND FILE A NOTICE OF COMPLETION\nFOR THE ANNUAL ROADWAY REHABILITATION AND SIDEWALK\nREPAIR PROJECT The final construction cost for the Annual Roadway\nRehabilitation and Sidewalk Repair Project - Zone 6 is $2,640,126.68,\napproximately 7% above the original contract amount of $2,464,122.\nAdditional quantities of various contract items were approved totaling\n$63,028.68 and a contract change order in the amount of $112,976 was\nrequested by the City for additional work to repave the Citrus Ranch Park\nparking lot. This project was funded through a combination of General\nFund, Measure M2 Fair Share, Gas Tax, Park Maintenance. The General\nFund was used to cover the cost of work performed on behalf of the City\nof Irvine and the Irvine Ranch Water District. The City of Irvine will\nreimburse $379,703 for work on Myford Road within their jurisdiction and\nthe Irvine Ranch Water District will reimburse $195,000 for adjustment of\ntheir facilities to grade.\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council: 1. Adopt\nResolution No. 25-64 accepting the improvement of the Annual Roadway\nRehabilitation and Sidewalk Repair Project - Zone 6; and 2. Authorize the\nCity Engineer to execute and file the Notice of Completion with the\nOrange County Recorder's Office.
