CONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 25-096,\nAUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT\nBETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH EL MONTE AND INTER-CON\nSECURITY SYSTEMS INC FOR PUBLIC SAFETY SERVICES\nOn July 17, 2025, the City of South El Monte published a Request for\nProposal (RFP) for Public Safety Services and _ received six\nproposals. Staff reviewed the proposals and determined that Inter-Con\nSecurity Systems Inc. (Inter-Con) provided the best overall value to meet\nthe needs of the City.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 25-096, approving the Professional Services\nAgreement with Inter-Con for Public Safety Services; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute the documents\nincident to that Agreement.
