APPROVAL OF PROPOSED DARK CITY COUNCIL MEETING DATES\nAND CLOSURE OF CITY HALL FOR HOLIDAYS\nEach year staff requests City Council consider “going dark” on the second\nTuesday in November and December due to the Thanksgiving and\nChristmas holidays. Staff also requests going dark the first meeting in\nJanuary on January 6, 2026.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Approve going dark on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, Tuesday,\nDecember 16, 2025, and Tuesday, January 6, 2026, due to the\nThanksgiving, Christmas and New Year holidays; and\n2. Authorize a City Hall closure during the Christmas holiday, from\nDecember 22, 2025, through January 1, 2026. City Hall reopens January\n5, 2026.
