10.7\nHighway Safety Improvement Program Cycle 12 Grant for the Citywide Guardrail\nImprovements Project\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n1. Accept the California Department of Transportation’s (Caltrans) Highway Safety\nImprovements Program (HSIP) Cycle 12 grant funds in the amount of $115,380\nfor the Citywide Guardrail Improvements Project, Capital Improvement Program\n(CIP) Project No. 26-02; and\n2. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Program Supplemental\nAgreement with Caltrans for the project plans, specifications and estimates\nphase of the Project ; and\n3. Adopt a resolution establishing the City’s eligibility to receive grant funding from\nCaltrans and authorize the City Manager to execute any grant-related\ndocuments to receive the Cycle 12 HSIP Grant funds; and\n4. Adopt two budget amendment resolutions appropriating $115,380 in\ncorresponding revenues within the Grant Fund 2301 and expenditures within the\nCapital Projects Fund 4320 to the Project account.
