10.9\nHighway Safety Improvement Program Cycle 12 Grant for the Citywide Pedestrian\nCrossing Improvements Project\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n1. Accept the California Department of Transportation’s (Caltrans) Highway Safety\nImprovement Program (HSIP) Cycle 12 grant funds in the amount of $49,770 for\nthe Citywide Pedestrian Crossing Improvements Project, Capital Improvement\nProgram (CIP) Project No. 26-04; and\n2. Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute a Program Supplemental\nAgreement with Caltrans for the project plans, specifications and estimates\nphase of the project; and\n3. Adopt two budget amendment resolutions amending the Fiscal Year\nappropriating $49,770 in corresponding revenues within the Grant Fund 2301\nand expenditures within the Capital Projects Fund 4320 to the Project account.
