3.\n25-56916\nApprove recommendation.\nApprove recommendation.\nRecommendation to determine that the project is consistent with and within the\nscope of the project previously analyzed as part of General Plan Land Use and\nUrban Design Elements (LUE/UDE) Program Environmental Impact Report (SCH\nNo. 2015051054) and subject to the LUE/UDE Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting\nProgram and warrants no further environmental review pursuant to California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines Section 15183;\nApprove a Site Plan Review (SPR25-022), and adopt the proposed findings and\nconditions of approval related thereto, to allow the construction of an amphitheater\nevent venue (Long Beach Amphitheater) with approximately 11,000 seats (with\nadditional standing-room areas accommodating up to 12,000 persons in total\ncapacity) on an approximately 7.1-acre site at the Queen Mary leasehold, currently\nused as a paved surface parking lot, located at 1051 Queens Highway within the\nSubarea 4 of Queensway Bay Planned Development (PD-21) District;\nApprove a Conditional Use Permit (CUP25-013), and adopt the proposed findings\nand conditions of approval related thereto, to allow the on-premises sale and\nconsumption of alcoholic beverages (Alcoholic Beverage Control [ABC] Types 47,\n58, 68, and 77 Licenses) at the event venue; and\nApprove an Administrative Use Permit (AUP25-015), and adopt the proposed\nfindings and conditions of approval related thereto, for the adjustment of parking\nrequirements pursuant to Section 21.41.223 of the Zoning Regulations that would\nallow for implementation of a parking management plan and Transportation\nDemand Management (TDM) measures for event days at the event venue.
