4.E. RATIFY AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY (OTS)\nFOR THE SELECTIVE TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM (STEP) GRANT\n— Recommended Action: 1) Ratify an agreement with the State of California Office of Traffic\nSafety (OTS) for the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program (STEP) Grant (PT26219); 2)\nAuthorize the City Manager and City Attorney to make any necessary, non-monetary changes\nto the agreement; 3) Authorize the Finance Director, Police Sergeant and Police Lieutenant to\nexecute the agreement and all other necessary grant documents; and, 4) Approve a budgetary\nappropriation in the amount of $145,000 for this purpose.
