2.\nADOPT A RESOLUTION TO APPLY TO THE CALIFORNIA DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FOR GRANT\nFUNDING UNDER\nTHE CALHOME PROGRAM (Housing Dept.)\nRecommendation: It is recommended that the City Council:\n(1)\nFind that the recommended action in the agenda report is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State\nCEQA Guidelines per\nSection 15061(b)(3), the “Common Sense” exemption that CEQA only applies to projects that may have a significant effect on the environment;\n(2)\nAdopt a Resolution of the City of Pasadena City Council approving the application submission to the California Department of Housing and\nCommunity Development’s\nCalHome program notice of funding availability for grant funding in the amount of $1,080,000 to provide financing for the rehabilitation and\nconstruction of accessory dwelling units; and\n(3)\nAuthorize the City Manager to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, a standard agreement, any amendments, and any and all other related\ndocuments deemed necessary\nto participate in the CalHome program, if selected for funding.\nRESOLUTION
