9.6 REJECTION OF BIDS FOR THE 3-YEAR CONTRACT FOR UTILITY SUPPORT AND\nMANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE CITY’S PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT\nComments:\nIn May 2024, the City received four (4) proposals for utility support and management\nservices. In October 2024, Staff recommended to award a 3-year contract to one of the\nproposing firms, however, a bid protest was filed with the City, and this item was tabled\nuntil a bid protest investigation was completed. The bid protest investigation was\ncompleted in August 2025. Due the length of time that has pasted from the solicitation of\nRFPs, staff recommend rejecting all bids. (PW)\nRecommendation:\nStaff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution entitled:\n“A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD REJECTING\nALL BIDS FOR UTILITY SUPPORT AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES FOR THE PUBLIC\nWORKS DEPARTMENT "
