Amend Map LU-14 (Community Commercial PlaceType) to exclude the\nproject site;\nd. Amend Map LU-25 (Eastside) to convert the project site from CC to NSC-\nM;\n25-56938\nAdopt ordinance approving a Zoning Map Change (ZCHG23-001) request, and\nadopt the proposed findings related thereto, to amend the zoning designation for\nthe property at 5150 East Pacific Coast Highway from Community Commercial\nAutomobile-Oriented (Height Overlay) (CCA-HL) to Mixed Use 3 (MU-3) Zoning\nDistrict, read the first time and laid over to the next regular meeting of the City\nCouncil for final reading; and\nAffirm the Planning Commission’s conditional approval of the Site Plan Review\n(SPR23-001) and Conditional Use Permit (CUP23-001), and adopt the proposed\nfindings and conditions thereto, for the adaptive reuse of a seven-story office\nbuilding into a Special Group Residence (private dormitory) with 593 beds, a new\n728-square foot pavilion building, approximately 22,523 square feet of open space,\nand 364 parking spaces within an existing parking structure located at 5150 East\nPacific Coast Highway.
