7.c.\nCONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 25-101,\nAPPROVING\nPROJECT\nACCEPTANCE\nAND\nNOTICE\nOF\nCOMPLETION FOR THE SYSTEMIC SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS AT\nSIGNALIZED INTERSECTIONS, HSIPL-5352(025).\nOn January 29, 2025, the Engineering Department solicited bids for the\nSystemic Safety Improvements at Signalized Intersections Project. The\nwork involved installation of raised pavement markers, striping, pedestrian\ncrosswalks, and traffic signal adjustments (implementation of leading\npedestrian interval (LPI)) at twenty-one (21) signalized intersections\ncitywide. On April 15, 2025, PTM General Engineering Services, Inc.\n(“Contractor”) was awarded a construction contract for the Systemic Safety\nImprovements at Signalized Intersections Project. The final cost for the\nconstruction work completed by PTM General Engineering Services, Inc. is\n$337,903.00.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 25-101, accepting the completion of the Systemic\nSafety Improvements at Signalized Intersections Project;\n2. Authorize the City Clerk to send the Notice of Completion for recordation\nto the Los Angeles County Recorder’s Office; and\n3. Release retention accordingly.
