8M. Public Works - Approve Agreements with Southern California Edison Company\n(SCE}, Related to Possible Removal of Overhead Electrical Facilities in Certain\nSCE-Owned Right-of-Way. Expenditure: $150,000 (General Fund},.\nRecommendation of the Public Works Director that City Council:\n1) Approve a study agreement with the Southern California Edison Company (SCE) in\nthe amount of $150,000 to analyze SCE facilities within the SCE right-of-way extending\nfrom Beryl Street to the Yukon Avenue substation to determine which portion, if any,\nof SCE transmission facilities can be decommissioned and removed after the AES\nRedondo Beach Generating Station ceases operation; and\n2) Approve a confidentiality agreement with SCE related to SCE system information\nprovided as a result of the study agreement.
