Adopt a resolution authorizing the City Manager\nand the Chief of Police, or their designee(s), to enter into agreements with the\nCity of Anaheim for the FY 2024 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant Program.\nRESOLUTION NO. 2025-XXX entitled A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY\nCOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CITY\nMANAGER AND THE CHIEF OF POLICE OR THEIR DESIGNEE(S) TO\nENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR THE\nFY2024 URBAN AREA SECURITY INITIATIVE FUNDING PROGRAM\n2. Authorize the City Manager and the Chief of Police to execute agreements\n(transfer agreement and award agreement) with the City of Anaheim\naccepting the FY 2024 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant Program in the\namount of $1,655,974 for the period of November 12, 2025 through March 31,\n2027 (Agreement Nos. A-2025-XXX and A-2025-XXX).\n3. Approve and authorize the City Manager and the Chief of Police to execute\nthe Memorandum of Understanding with the City of Anaheim accepting the FY\n2024 Urban Area Security Initiative Grant Program.\n4. Approve an Appropriation Adjustment recognizing $1,655,974 in grant\nrevenue from the FY 2024 Urban Area Security Initiative funding program\nrevenue account and appropriate same to the FY 2024 Urban Area Security\nInitiative Program Grant expenditures accounts.
