30. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AN INCREASE TO THE BLANKET PURCHASE ORDER WITH\nROBERTSON’S READY MIX LTD. FOR THE PURCHASE OF CONCRETE MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES,\nRAISING THE NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT FROM $60,000 TO $150,000 FOR FISCAL YEAR 2025-2026\n(CITY COUNCIL)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n— 1. WAIVE the contract requirements of the Carson Municipal Code (“CMC”) pursuant to\nCarson Municipal Code 2606(b)(1)(ii);\n— 2. AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Manager to waive the formal bidding procedures as defined\nby the CMC Section 2610, utilizing Sole Source Purchasing as allowed by the CMC Section\n2611(e); and,\n— 3. AUTHORIZE the Purchasing Manager to amend and increase the purchase order for\nsupplies and materials to Robertson’s Ready Mix LTD for the period July 1, 2025, through June\n30, 2026, for the not-to-exceed amount of $150,000.\nSPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY (Item 31)\nPublic testimony is restricted to three minutes per speaker, speaking once (excepting applicants\nwho are afforded a right of rebuttal, if desired), unless\nextended by order of the Mayor with the approval of the City Council.
