General Services and Transit - Approve Public Works Agreement for Exterior\nPainting of City Yard Buildings as Cooperative Purchase with Sourcewell.\nExpenditure: Not-to-Exceed $463,709.88 (General Fund and Non-General Fund},.\nRecommendation of the General Services Director and Transit Director that City Council:\n1) Approve a public works agreement with MDJ Management, LLC of El Segundo, CA for\nan amount not-to-exceed $441,628.88 and authorize a 5% contingency of $22,081 for\nExterior Painting of City Yard Buildings for a one-year period beginning April 11, 2023\nand ending April 10, 2024 as a Cooperative Purchase with Sourcewell; and\n2) Adopt a finding that the project is categorically exempt under the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act ("CEQA") pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section\n15301 (Existing Facilities) and that there are no features that distinguish this project\nfrom others in the exempt class, and therefore, there are no unusual circumstances.
