48.\nArmed and Unarmed Security Guard Services Sole Source Contract\nAmendments\nRecommendation: Approve and instruct the Chair to sign a sole source\namendment to a Proposition A contract with Allied Universal Security Services\nto extend the term of the contract for an additional 18 months from January 1,\n2026 through June 30, 2027, and increase the maximum annual contract\namount by $52,601,695.85 for a maximum contract amount not to exceed\n$327,232,653.36. Approve and instruct the Chair to sign a sole source\namendment to a contract with Securitas Security Services, USA, Inc. to extend\nthe term for an additional 18 months from January 1, 2026 through June 30,\n2027, and increase the maximum annual contract amount by $73,471,589.04\nfor a maximum contract amount not to exceed $417,883,118.68.
