PUBLIC HEARING - ADOPTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 2022-12-1542\nAMENDING TITLE 15 OF THE SIGNAL HILL MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED\nBUILDINGS AND CONSTRUCTION\nSummary:\nForm of Notice: Notice was published in the Signal Tribune newspaper per\nGovernment Code §65091(a)(4) on December 23 and December 30, 2022; and\nwas posted in accordance with Signal Hill Municipal Code Section 1.08.010 at\nCity Hall, Signal Hill Library, Reservoir Park, and Discovery Well Park on\nDecember 23, 2022.\nOrdinance No. 2022-12-1542 was introduced at the City Council meeting of\nDecember 13, 2022 and is now presented for adoption. The primary purpose of\nthe Ordinance is to adopt the 2022 editions of the California Building Standards\nCode by reference.\nRecommendations:\n1) Adopt Ordinance No. 2022-12-1542 by reference, entitled:\nAN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SIGNAL HILL,\nCALIFORNIA, APPROVING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT 22-01,\nAMENDING TITLE 15 OF THE SIGNAL HILL MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED\n“BUILDINGS AND CONSTRUCTION”\n2) Authorize staff to submit the Buildings and Construction Code Ordinance to\nthe California Building Standards Commission.
