20.\nRESIDENTIAL STREET LIGHTING SYSTEM UPGRADE – AUTHORIZATION TO\nADVERTISE FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS (PUBLIC WORKS)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1) Approve the Plans and Specifications for the Residential Street Lighting System\nUpgrade Project; and\n2) Appropriate $3,451,850 from Utility Users Tax Capital Improvement Fund to the\nResidential Street Lighting Upgrade project (Account No. PW220010); and\n3) Appropriate $923,150, from Measure SFS Fund to the Project (Account No.\nPW220010) for street lighting system upgrades in commercial areas on Alondra\nBoulevard and Telegraph Road; and\n4) Authorize the City Engineer to advertise for construction bids, and\n5) Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Exemption for the subject project with\nthe Los Angeles Registrar-Recorder; and\n6) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
