16.\nAPPROVAL\nOF\nPROFESSIONAL\nSERVICES\nAGREEMENT\nWITH\nEKI\nENVIRONMENT\n&\nWATER,\nINC.\nFOR\nMC&C\nIV\nENVIRONMENTAL\nINVESTIGATION (COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the Successor Agency:\n1) Find that approval of the Professional Services Agreement (PSA) between the\nSuccessor Agency to the Community Development Commission/Redevelopment\nAgency of the City of Santa Fe Springs (Successor Agency) and EKI Environment\n& Water, Inc. (“EKI”) for environmental investigation work is exempt from the\nrequirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA);\n2) Approve the PSA and authorize the City Manager to execute the PSA in\nsubstantially the form presented, with such minor modifications as approved by\nthe City Attorney; and\n3) Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.\nCITY COUNCIL
