13.\nMCBEAN PARKWAY REALIGNMENT, PROJECT S1047 - PLANS,\nSPECIFICATIONS, AND CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT - This item considers\nawarding a construction contract for the McBean Parkway Realignment project. The\nimprovements include enhanced circulation on McBean Parkway at Orchard Village\nRoad and enhancements to ingress and egress at Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial\nHospital.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Approve the plans and specifications for the McBean Parkway Realignment, Project\nS1047.\n2. Award the construction contract to Sully-Miller Contracting Company, in the amount\nof $2,387,825 and authorize a contingency in the amount of $358,174, for a total\ncontract amount not to exceed $2,745,999.\n3. Award the professional services contract to Ardurra Group, Inc., to provide\nconstruction administration and construction support services in the amount of\n$112,827 and authorize a contingency in the amount of $11,283, for a total contract\namount not to exceed $124,110.\n4. Appropriate one-time funds in the amount of $2,110,000 from the Developer Fees\nFund (Fund 306) to expenditure account S1047306-516101 and increase Developer\nFees Fund revenue account 306-457501 by $2,110,000.\n5. Authorize the City Manager or designee to execute all contracts and associated\ndocuments, subject to City Attorney approval.\nThis time has been set aside for any speakers that have turned in speaker cards and were not\nheard in the first thirty minutes allotted to address the City Council on items that are NOT on the\nagenda.
