7.\nLANDSCAPE AND LIGHTING DISTRICT ANNEXATION L-101\nRESOLUTIONS OF INTENT AND INITIATING PROCEEDINGS - Approval of\nthis item would initiate proceedings associated with Santa Clarita Landscape and\nLighting District Annexation L-101, approving an Engineer's Report for the purpose of\nannexing specific parcels throughout the City, including the Riverview and River Walk\nprojects, into Streetlight Maintenance District Zone B.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION:\nCity Council:\n1. Adopt a resolution to approve the Engineer’s Report declaring its intention to annex\nparcels, including Riverview Community (Master Case 21-205); River Walk Mixed\nUse (Master Case No. 25-008); Sierra West Senior Living Facility (Master Case 18-\n235); Newhall Avenue McDonalds (Master Case 22-244); and various other parcels\ninto the Santa Clarita Landscape and Lighting District (LLD), Streetlight\nMaintenance District Zone B.\n2. Adopt a resolution to initiate proceedings, make certain designations in connection\nwith the annexation of parcels into the LLD, and to levy assessments beginning in\nFiscal Year 2026-27.\n3. Set a public hearing for February 24, 2026, at a time and place to hear comments on\nthis proposed action, and close the time period to receive ballots.
