B.12. AUTHORIZATION TO ESTABLISH NEW AGREEMENTS FOR ON-CALL\nPLAN CHECK AND SUPPLEMENTAL BUILDING AND SAFETY\nSERVICES [N. MARICICH, J. ALKIRE, B. GALAN, C. ZABALA]:\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider approval of an authorized pool\nof qualified consultants who will be issued Agreements for Professional\nServices to provide plan check and supplemental Building and Safety\nservices on an as-needed basis based on a recently conducted Request\nfor Qualifications (RFQ) submission and review process.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Authorize Staff to maintain an active pool of\nqualified consultants to provide plan check, inspection, and supplemental\nBuilding and Safety services for a period of three (3) years beginning\nJanuary 1, 2026 with a combined not-to-exceed spending amount of\n$5,250,000 over the contract period; 2) Approve Agreements for Service\nwith the following consultants to provide as-needed plan check,\ninspection, and supplemental services: a) TRB Plus Associates, b) True\nNorth Compliance Services, c) 4 Leaf Inc, d) JAS Pacific, e) Degenkolb\nEngineers. F) WSP USA Buildings Inc; and 3) Authorize the City Manager\nto negotiate and execute the Agreements.
