I.14\nACCEPTANCE OF PARCEL FOR SUBSTATION (REPORT OF: PUBLIC WORKS)\n(DISTRICT 3)\nAuthorization of the Acceptance of Real Property Donation Agreement and Joint\nEscrow with SOPAC Property Holdings, LLC For A Substation Site And Easement\nFor Battery/Energy Storage\nRecommendation(s)\nThat the City Council:\n1. Adopt a Resolution authorizing the City to accept, at no cost, certain real property\ninterests from SOPAC Property Holdings, LLC ("Donor") consisting of APNs 422-070-\n029, 422-070-030, and a portion of 422-070-031 (collectively, the "Donation\nProperty") for use as the World Logistics Center (WLC) Specific Plan substation site\nand easement for related battery/energy storage area; and\n2. Authorize the City Manager, or his designee, to execute the Donation Agreement,\nCertificate of Acceptance, and Professional Service Agreements related escrow and\ntitle documents, and to take any actions necessary to effectuate the acceptance and\nclose of escrow consistent with this staff report; and\n3. Authorize recordation of the Grant Deed and related documents with the Riverside\nCounty Recorder.
