9.\nFISCAL YEAR 2025-26 STATE OF CALIFORNIA CITIZEN’S OPTIONS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAM GRANT\nAND BUDGET ADJUSTMENT\nRequest the City Council adopt Resolution No. 2025-160 authorizing the Escondido Police Department to\naccept a Fiscal Year 2025-26 Citizens’ Option for Public Safety Program Grant in the amount of $229,884;\napproving grant expenditures consistent with guidelines in AB1913; authorizing the Chief of Police or\ntheir designee to execute grant documents on behalf of the City; and approving budget adjustments\nneeded to spend grant funds.
