35. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT NO. 2 TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE MAINTENANCE\nCONTRACT WITH LOS ANGELES COUNTY CONSERVATION CORPS, FOR WEED ABATEMENT, REMOVAL\nOF MISCELLANEOUS DEBRIS, WITHIN THE CITY’S RIGHT OF WAY (CITY COUNCIL)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n— 1. APPROVE the proposed Amendment No. 2 to the Contract Services Agreement between\nthe City of Carson and the Los Angeles Conservation Corps to extend the contract term by one\nadditional year and increase the contract amount by $433,379.89, resulting in a total not-to-\nexceed contract amount of $1,300,139.67; and,\n— 2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 2, subject to approval as to form by\nthe City Attorney.\nSPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY (Item 36)\nPublic testimony is restricted to three minutes per speaker, speaking once (excepting applicants\nwho are afforded a right of rebuttal, if desired), unless\nextended by order of the Mayor with the approval of the City Council.
