8.\nNOTICE INVITING BIDS: ALLEY REHABILITATION PROJECT (AREA B/PHASE I) –\nF2M26-20, N2M26-4\nThe Alley Rehabilitation (Area B/Phase I) Project consists of four alley segments. The\nalley segments are categorized as failed condition. The selected alley segments for this\nProject are as follows: between Ross Avenue and La Paloma Avenue from Hellman\nAvenue to Fremont Avenue (Bid Alternate is located between Valley Boulevard and\nNorwood Place from Westmont Drive and Cabrillo Avenue). Plans and specifications have\nbeen prepared for this project. Staff reviewed the plans, and found them to be in\nconformance with City Standards. Once the Council authorizes the distribution of the NIB,\nit will be posted and advertised with the bid notice and bid instructions.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council authorize the circulation of a Notice Inviting\nBids to prospective contractors for the Alley Rehabilitation Project (Area B/Phase I) with\nbids due no later than 10:30 a.m. on February 12, 2026; and, direct staff to undertake the\nsteps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
