13.\nCONTRACT AMENDMENT: MOBILE DATA COMPUTERS – F2M25-6B, C2M25-31,\nM2M26-6\nOn July 28, 2025, the City Council awarded a contract to Getac Technology Corporation\nin the amount of $120,744.72 for the purchase of 23 Getac S510 Mobile Data Computers\n(MDC) installed in patrol units. The California Highway Patrol Cannabis Tax Fund Grant\nProgram previously awarded grant funds to the Police Department to outfit two police\nvehicles with MDCs. In addition, the City is requesting three additional MDCs. Getac\nTechnology Corporation submitted a quote of $26,416.40 for five Getac S510 MDCs\n(including mounting hardware and installation) under the State of California Sourcewell\nCooperative Agreement Number 090122-GET. In accordance with Alhambra Municipal\nCode 3.36.080(B)(3), the City Council may approve purchases through or in conjunction\nwith another public agency’s purchase of the same supplies or equipment.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve an amendment, subject to final\nlanguage approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to the contract between Getac\nTechnology Corporation and the City of Alhambra (Contract No. C2M25-31) for\n$26,416.40 for a total contract amount not to exceed$147,161.12 for the purchase of\nadditional mobile data computers, related equipment and installation; authorize the Chief\nof Police to execute said amendment; and, direct staff to undertake the steps necessary\nto finalize Council’s action.
