6.1\nConsideration of Ordinance No. 962, Amending Certain\nSections of Title 6 (Buildings and Construction) of the Bell\nGardens Municipal Code to Adopt by Reference Los Angeles\nCounty Code Titles 26 through 31, Which Adopt by Reference\nand Amend the 2025 California Building Standards Code, and\nAdopting by Reference the 2024 International Property\nMaintenance Code as Published by the International Code\nCouncil\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City\nCouncil conduct a public hearing, receive testimony, waive full\nreading and introduce by title only Ordinance No. 962, amending\ncertain sections of Title 6 (Buildings and Construction) of the Bell\nGardens Municipal Code, to adopt by reference Los Angeles County\nCode Title 26 (Building Code), Title 27 (Electrical Code), Title 28\n(Plumbing Code), Title 29 (Mechanical Code), Title 30 (Residential\nCode), and Title 31 (Green Building Standards Code), which amend\nand adopt by reference the 2025 California Building Standards Code,\nand adopt by reference the 2024 International Property Maintenance\nCode as published by the International Code Council.\nATTACHMENTS:\nExhibit 1 - Public Hearing Notice\nExhibit 2 - Ordinance No. 962
