12.2\nConsideration of Interim Urgency Ordinance No. 963-U,\nAmending Certain Sections of Title 6 (Buildings and\nConstruction) of the Bell Gardens Municipal Code to Adopt by\nReference Los Angeles County Code Titles 26 through 31,\nWhich Adopt By Reference and Amend the 2025 California\nBuilding Standards Code, and Adopting by Reference the 2024\nInternational Property Maintenance Code as Published by the\nInternational Code Council\nRECOMMENDATION: It is staff’s recommendation that the City\nCouncil adopt, by a four-fifths vote, Interim Urgency Ordinance No.\n963-U, amending certain sections of Title 6 (Buildings and\nConstruction) of the Bell Gardens Municipal Code, to adopt by\nreference Los Angeles County Code Title 26 (Building Code), Title 27\n(Electrical Code), Title 28 (Plumbing Code), Title 29 (Mechanical\nCode), Title 30 (Residential Code), and Title 31 (Green Building\nStandards Code), which amend and adopt by reference the 2025\nCalifornia Building Standards Code, and adopt by reference the 2024\nInternational Property Maintenance Code as published by the\nInternational Code Council.\nATTACHMENTS:\nExhibit 1 - Urgency Ordinance No. 963U
