REORGANIZATION OF THE CITY COUNCIL AND CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT BOARD,\nELECTION OF MAYOR PRO TEMPORE AND BOARD PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT, REGIONAL\nCOMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS AND SUBCOMMITTEE ASSIGNMENTS – 1) Adoption of a resolution\nappointing one member of the City Council to serve as Mayor Pro Tempore for a term ending in\nDecember 2026, or until a replacement is appointed; and\n2) Adoption of a Carlsbad Municipal Water District Board of Directors resolution appointing one\nmember of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District Board of Directors to serve as President of the Board\nand one member to serve as Vice President of the Board for a term ending in December 2026, or until\na replacement is appointed; and\n3) Adoption of a resolution appointing members of the City Council to the San Diego Association of\nGovernments Board of Directors for a term ending in December 2026, or until a replacement is\nappointed; and\n4) Adoption of a resolution appointing members of the City Council to the San Diego Association of\nGovernments Shoreline Preservation Working Group for a term ending in December 2026, or until a\nreplacement is appointed; and\n5) Adoption of a resolution appointing members of the City Council to the North County Transit\nDistrict Board of Directors for a term ending in December 2026, or until a replacement is appointed;\nand\n6) Adoption of a Carlsbad Municipal Water District Board of Directors resolution confirming the Board\nPresident’s appointment of a Board Member to the San Diego County Water Authority Board of\nDirectors for a term ending in December 2026, or until a replacement is appointed; and\n7) Adoption of a resolution appointing members of the City Council to the Clean Energy Alliance Joint\nPowers Authority Board of Directors for a term ending in December 2026, or until a replacement is\nappointed; and\n8) Adoption of a resolution confirming the mayoral appointment of members of the City Council to\nthe various regional committee assignments for terms ending in December 2026, or until\nreplacements are appointed; and\n9) Adoption of a resolution confirming the mayoral appointment of members of the City Council to\nthe City Council Economic Development Subcommittee for a term ending in December 2026, or until\nreplacements are appointed.
