6.\nADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 26-04 APPROVING THE PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT FOR THE\nPURCHASE OF REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 860 TRUCK WAY (APN 6350-021-027)\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 26-04 approving the purchase of real property located at 860 Truck Way,\nMontebello, California 90640, for a total not-to-exceed amount of $2,200,000; and\n2. Approve the Purchase and Sale Agreement and authorize staff to continue negotiating the final form as\nlong as no change to purchase price or description of property being purchased, which final agreement\nshall be approved as to form by the City Attorney’s office; and\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute the Purchase and Sale Agreement with Walter B. Baker and Marla\nBaker, and any related documents reasonably necessary to complete the purchase in accordance with\nthe final agreement; and\n4. Amend the Fiscal Year 2025-26 adopted operating budget to increase appropriations by $2,200,000 in\nAccount No. 600-90-900-7060 (Transit Fund, Transit Administration, Acquisition); and\n5. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
