7.\nACCEPTANCE OF THE FIRE STATION 56 REMODELING PROJECT (CDBG) (CP 923) – NOTICE OF\nCOMPLETION\nRECOMMENDATION: It is recommended that the City Council:\n1. Accept the Fire Station 56 Remodeling Project (CDBG) (CP 923) by Certified Roofing Applicators, Inc.;\nand\n2. Approve the final contract amount with Certified Roofing Applicators, Inc., in the amount of $779,070\nincluding change orders; and\n3. Approve the Final Total Project Budget (Attachment A); and\n4. Authorize the City Clerk to execute, verify and file the Notice of Completion (Attachment B) with the Los\nAngeles County Registrar-Recorder; and\n5. Authorize the release of the retention payment of $38,954 due to Certified Roofing Applicators, Inc.\nfollowing the mandatory waiting period from the date the Notice of Completion is recorded; and\n6. Take such additional, related action that may be desirable.
