Second Reading of Ordinance No. 1271, an Ordinance of the City of Brea Extending the Term\nof a Pipeline Franchise Granted to Cardinal Pipeline, L.P., Repealing Ordinance No. 1268, and\nApprove a CEQA Exemption Determination\n— 1. Waive full reading and adopt Ordinance No. 1271, "An Ordinance of the City Council of the\nCity of Brea extending the term of a pipeline franchise granted to Cardinal Pipeline, L.P. and\nrepealing Ordinance No. 1268," by title only, and approve a California Environmental Quality\nAct (CEQA) exemption determination;\n— 2. Appropriate any revenues received as part of this franchise in the Fiscal Year 2025-26\nOperating Budget; and\n— 3. Authorize the City Clerk to accept a new faithful performance bond upon final adoption of\nthe Ordinance.
