17. CONSIDER APPROVAL OF AN AGREEMENT WITH JOE A. GONSALVES & SON FOR STATE OF\nCALIFORNIA PROFESSIONAL LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY SERVICES (CITY COUNCIL)\nRECOMMENDED ACTION\n— 1. AWARD and APPROVE the proposed Contract Services Agreement with Joe A. Gonsalves &\nSon for State of California legislative advocacy services for a five-year term, for a not-to-\nexceed Contract Sum of $300,000 for the five-year term (Exhibit No. 1; "Agreement”); and\n— 2. AUTHORIZE the Mayor to execute the Agreement following approval as to form by the City\nAttorney
