According to the Los Angeles Council\nCommunity Development Block Grant Bulletin, the City of La Verne is anticipated to be allocated\n$137,721 in Community Development Block Grant funds.\nRecommendation:\nThat the City Council conduct a Public Hearing, and upon closing the Public Hearing, approve a\nResolution titled, "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA VERNE,\nCALIFORNIA, APPROVING PARTICIPATION IN THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK\nGRANT PROGRAM AND SELECTING CERTAIN PROJECTS FOR FUNDING IN THE FISCAL\nYEAR 2026 - 2027."
