RESOLUTION NO.      - First Amendment to Service Authorities 4700002145 with Cinnabar California, Inc. and 4700002146 with Curatorial, Inc.:  To extend their respective terms by twenty-four (24) months and to increase their not-to-exceed amounts by $120,000 and $150,000, respectively, covering on-call art handling services at Los Angeles International Airport \nPURPOSE: Staff requests authority to amend two (2) on-call art handling services contracts to extend their respective terms by twenty-four (24) months for a total of three (3) years, and increase the contract amounts. This will allow the firms to continue providing on-call art handling services, including installation and removal services of art exhibitions that are in progress, packing, storing, and transporting artwork. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; find that the work can be performed more economically or feasibly by an independent contractor than by City employees; approve the First Amendment to Service Authorities 4700002145 with Cinnabar California, Inc. and 4700002146 with Curatorial, Inc.; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said First Amendments after approval as to form by the City Attorney.
