RESOLUTION NO. - Award of three (3)-year Contract to PATH: Covering intensive case management services, terminal outreach, and engagement services at Los Angeles International Airport terminals and all Los Angeles World Airports property, for cost not to exceed $600,000 \nPURPOSE: The proposed action will establish a three (3)-year contract covering intensive case management, terminal outreach, and engagement services at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) terminals and all Los Angeles World Airports property. PATH will work with Airport Police Division and its Crisis Intervention Team to provide compassionate services to people experiencing homelessness which, in turn, further efforts to restrict LAX access only to airline passengers and persons meeting, accompanying, or assisting them and airport personnel whose employment requires their presence. \nRECOMMENDATIONS: Adoption of the Report requesting that the Board of Airport Commissioners determine that this action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Article II, Section 2.f of the Los Angeles City CEQA Guidelines; find that the work can be performed more economically or feasibly by an independent contractor than by City employees; approve Award of Contract to PATH; and authorize the Chief Executive Officer, or designee, to execute said Contract after approval as to form by the City Attorney.
