26. 26-54022\nRecommendation to adopt Plans and Specifications No. R-7274 and award a\ncontract to Bernards Bros., Inc., of San Fernando, CA, for the construction of the\nBelmont Beach and Aquatics Center, in the amount of $54,384,700, for the Base\nBid and Bid Alternative No. 01, and authorize a 10 percent contingency in the\namount of $5,438,470, for a total contract amount not to exceed $59,823,170; and,\nauthorize City Manager, or designee, to execute all documents necessary to enter\ninto the contract, including any necessary subsequent amendments;\nAuthorize City Manager, or designee, to execute the Third Amendment to Contract\nNo. 36324 with Arcadis U.S., Inc., of Los Angeles, CA, for construction\nmanagement and inspection services for the Belmont Beach and Aquatics Center,\nand extend the term of the contract to August 13, 2028, with an option to renew for\ntwo (2) additional one-year periods, at the discretion of the City Manager;\nIncrease appropriations in the Tidelands Operating Fund Group in the Public\nWorks Department by $24,560,000, offset by future bond proceeds;\nIncrease appropriations in the Capital Projects Fund Group in the Public Works\nDepartment by $1,000,000, offset by Park Impact Fees (PIF); and\nIncrease appropriations in the Capital Projects Fund Group in the Public Works\nDepartment by $1,000,000, to allow for the transfer of PIF funds to the Capital\nProject Fund, where the project will be managed.
