A. A Public Hearing to Consider and Approve a Resolution of the City of Cudahy Approving the\nCommunity Development Block Grant (“CDBG”) Programs and Funding for Fiscal Year 2026-2027\n(page 31)\nPresented by the Senior Planner\nRecommendation:\nThe City Council is requested to take the following action(s):\n1. Open the public hearing, receive testimony and presentation of the\nproposed programs; and\n2. Authorize City staff to release a Request for Proposal to seek qualified\nconsulting firms for the provisions of CDBG Housing Rehabilitation\nServices, CDBG Administration and Labor Compliance Services for\nFiscal Year 2026-27; and\n3. Adopt either:\na. Proposed Resolution No. 26-01 authorizing the allocation of\nCDBG funds for FY 2026-27 from the Los Angeles County\nDevelopment Authority (“LACDA”) is authorized to undertake the following activities and projects:\n\na. Owner-occupied housing rehabilitation, code enforcement, business assistance, and city facilities ADA improvements.\n\nb. Proposed Resolution No. 26-02 authorizes the allocation of CDBG funds for FY 2026-27 from LACDA for the same activities and projects.\nClara Park Basketball Facility Improvements; and\n4. Authorize the City Manager to execute all new contracts and\nagreements with LACDA for the unallocated funds and allocation of\nFY 2026-2027 CDBG Program, subject to adjustment to reflect the\nactual allocation of funds to the City of Cudahy.
