F.3.\nA RESOLUTION REAFFIRMS THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD’S COMMITMENT TO UPHOLDING THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES AND URGES CONGRESS TO CHALLENGE UNCONSTITUTIONAL ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION. HANG]\nSUBJECT: The City Council will consider adopting a Resolution\nreaffirming the City of West Hollywood’s commitment to upholding the\nConstitution of the United States and urging Congress to challenge\nunconstitutional actions taken by the Trump Administration. This year\nmarks the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, and in light\nof this milestone, the City of West Hollywood reaffirms its commitment to\nthe country’s foundational ideals of free speech, equality, fair elections,\nand checks and balances.\nRECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Adopt Resolution No. 26-________: “A\nRESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST\nHOLLYWOOD REAFFIRMS THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD’S COMMITMENT TO UPHOLDING THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES AND URGES CONGRESS TO CHALLENGE UNCONSTITUTIONAL ACTIONS TAKEN BY THE TRUMP ADMINISTRATION. Additionally, it directs staff to send copies of the resolution to the appropriate recipients.\nUnited States Senators Alex Padilla and Adam Schiff, and Representative\nLaura Friedman, and California Governor Gavin Newsom.
