7.e.\nCONSIDERATION AND APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION NO. 26-003,\nAPPROVING\nPROJECT\nACCEPTANCE\nAND\nNOTICE\nOF\nCOMPLETION FOR THE CITY HALL AND COUNCIL CHAMBER’S\nRESTROOM REMODEL (CDBG), CITY PROJECT NO. 637.\nOn March 14, 2025, the Engineering Department solicited bids for the City\nHall and Council Chamber’s Restroom Remodel (CDBG) Project. The work\ninvolved the renovation and upgrade of four restrooms on the main floor\n(two public restrooms and two staff restrooms) located within the City of\nSouth El Monte City Hall and Council Chamber’s buildings. On June 3,\n2025, Bridgerock Construction, Inc. (“Contractor”) was awarded a\nconstruction contract for the City Hall and Council Chamber’s Restroom\nRemodel (CDBG) Project. The final cost for the construction work\ncompleted by Bridgerock Construction, Inc. is $572,914.92.\nRECOMMENDED ACTION: Staff recommends City Council:\n1. Adopt Resolution No. 26-003, accepting the completion for the City Hall\nand Council Chamber’s Restroom Remodel (CDBG) Project;\n2. Authorize City Clerk to send the Notice of Completion for recordation to\nthe Los Angeles County Recorder’s Office; and\n3. Release retention accordingly.
