Authorization to Purchase Vactor Ramjet and Truvac Hydro Excavation\nTrucks for the Public Works Department\nRecommended Action: Staff recommends that the City Council: 1) Approve the\npurchase of a Vactor Ramjet truck in Fiscal Year (FY) 2025-2026 and a Truvac\nHydro Excavation Truck in FY 2026-2027; 2) Authorize the City Manager to\nexecute the necessary paperwork to facilitate the purchases; and 3) Amend the\nFY 2025-2026 Operating and Capital Budget for the purchase of the Vactor\nRamjet truck and direct staff to include funds for the purchase of the Truvac Hyro\nExcavation Truck in the FY 2026-2027 Operating and Capital Budget as\ndescribed in the Fiscal Impact.\nReference: Clerk’s File No. 601-5
