16.\nAMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT FOR THE JOINT USE OF ALHAMBRA UNIFIED\nSCHOOL DISTRICT MOOR FIELD – F2M-80, C2M-86, M2M26-21\nThe City of Alhambra and the Alhambra Unified School District (AUSD) entered into a\njoint-use agreement for the use of Moor Field in 1986. On November 7, 2000, the City\nCouncil approved an agreement with AUSD with respect to Moor Field for 15 years with\nautomatic 5-year extensions unless terminated in writing. On January 15, 2026, the City\nreceived notification from the AUSD requesting a change in the term to one year rather\nthan the automatic five years, to allow time to review and consider any potential updates\nor needs moving forward.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council approve an amendment, subject to final\nlanguage approval by the City Manager and City Attorney, to the Agreement by and\nbetween the City of Alhambra and Alhambra Unified School District (Contract No. C2M-\n86) for the joint use of Moor Field for a period of one year; and, direct staff to undertake\nthe steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
