9.\nAWARD CONTRACT: DEPUTY BUILDING INSPECTOR SERVICES FOR THE\nCONSTRUCTION OF THE COMMUNITY CENTER – F2M22-65, N2M25-176, C2M26-4,\nM2M26-13\nOn December 8, 2025, the City Council authorized the issuance of a Notice Inviting Bids\nfor deputy building inspector services for the Alhambra Community Center project. On\nJanuary 13, 2026, the Parks & Recreation Department received nine bid proposals for the\nservices. The bid proposal from Koury Engineering & Testing Inc. is the lowest responsive\nbid received.\nRecommended Action:\nCity Council award a contract, subject to final language\napproval by the City Manager and City Attorney, by and between the City of Alhambra and\nKoury Engineering & Testing, Inc. for deputy building inspector services for the Alhambra\nCommunity Center in an amount not to exceed $150,000.00; and, direct staff to undertake\nthe steps necessary to finalize Council’s action.
