4.F.\nAdoption of a Resolution Authorizing Acceptance of a Grant from the\nCalifornia Department of Justice for the Tobacco Grant Program\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n1. Adopt a finding that the Tobacco Grant Program is categorically exempt\npursuant to Section 15321 (Class 21, Enforcement Actions) of the California\nEnvironmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines;\n2. Adopt the attached resolution authorizing the acceptance of a grant awarded\nin the amount of $138,138 from the California Department of Justice Tobacco\nGrant Program for the Tobacco Enforcement program at the Police\nDepartment, and to accept all grant renewals;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents to accept the\ngrant and all grant renewals; and\n4. Authorize budget changes as outlined in the Financial Impacts & Budget\nActions section of this report (requires 5 votes).
