4.B.\nAcceptance of FY2024 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Award\nRecommended Action\nStaff recommends that the City Council:\n\n1. Adopt a finding of no possibility of significant effect pursuant to Section\n15061(b)(3) (Common Sense Exemption) of the California Environmental\nQuality Act (CEQA) Guidelines;\n2. Authorize the City Manager to accept a grant awarded to the City in the\namount of $119,056.36 from the Department of Homeland Security, Federal\nEmergency Management Agency, for the FY 2024 Assistance to Firefighters\nGrant in the Fire Department, and to accept all grant renewals;\n3. Authorize the City Manager to execute all necessary documents to accept the\ngrant, all grant renewals, and modifications; and\n4. Authorize a budget amendment as outlined in the Financial Impacts & Budget\nActions section of this report (requires 5 votes).
