3.\nAPPROVE ACCEPTANCE OF WORK PERFORMED FOR CIP 2019-02 SLAUSON\nAVENUE CONGESTION RELIEF IMPROVEMENT PROJECT – A METRO\nMEASURE R PROJECT\nIT IS RECOMMENDED THAT CITY COUNCIL:\n1. Approve acceptance of work performed by All American Asphalt for the\nconstruction of the Slauson Avenue Congestion Relief Improvement Project, CIP\n2019-02;\n2. Authorize staff to execute the Notice of Completion (NOC) and direct the City\nClerk to file the NOC with the Los Angeles County Recorder’s Office; and\n3. Authorize release of the 5% retention to the contractor 35 days after the effective\ndate of the recordation of the NOC, provided no Stop Notices are filed within the\n35-day period.\nCITY MANAGER
